Wow. You are my hero. I made my last flight 8 years ago, with no Covid about, but with the typical travel difficulties. Compared to what you experienced mine was a breeze. However, I made the decision to give it up. (On the other hand I have no relatives outside the US.) I hope you are having a marvelous time and when returning to the US you have an uneventful trip.
You’re just lucky some COVIDIOT didn’t attack the cabin crew over being asked to put their mask on. Maybe that’s just an American thing … stupid idiots who don’t care about protecting themselves and others from infection. It’s totally uncivilized!
